Legal Receptionist
General Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients and visitors
- Answering and routing incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system
- Scheduling – client appointments and reminder calls
- Data Entry, Scanning, photocopying, faxing, filing documents, proofreading, etc.
- Preparing mailings
- Assisting paralegals as requested
- Managing office supply inventory
- Recording incoming payments in Payment Log
- Client Expenses – posting Invoices for expenses
- Monthly Billing (preparing reports, spreadsheets for QB, mailing and emailing invoices)
- Sorting and distributing mail
- Any other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional appearance
- High School diploma or higher education
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Oral and written skills
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Understanding confidentiality requirements
- Adaptability and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
Pay – commensurate with experience
Benefits – offered to Full-Time Employees after probation period
Work Schedule – Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm; Closed for Holidays (schedule provided)
