Legal Receptionist

General Responsibilities:

  • Greeting clients and visitors
  • Answering and routing incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system
  • Scheduling – client appointments and reminder calls
  • Data Entry, Scanning, photocopying, faxing, filing documents, proofreading, etc.
  • Preparing mailings
  • Assisting paralegals as requested
  • Managing office supply inventory
  • Recording incoming payments in Payment Log
  • Client Expenses – posting Invoices for expenses
  • Monthly Billing (preparing reports, spreadsheets for QB, mailing and emailing invoices)
  • Sorting and distributing mail
  • Any other duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional appearance
  • High School diploma or higher education
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Oral and written skills
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Understanding confidentiality requirements
  • Adaptability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others

Pay – commensurate with experience

Benefits – offered to Full-Time Employees after probation period

Work Schedule – Monday thru Friday 8am – 5pm; Closed for Holidays (schedule provided)
